Tomas Tumėnas was appointed Chief Financial Officer of KN Energies

Tomas Tumėnas assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the international energy terminal operator KN Energies AB on January 15.
T. Tumėnas brings over 30 years of experience in various financial activities, including treasury, investment appraisal, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management. He served as the CFO of AB Linas Agro Group (now AB Akola group) for nearly 20 years and currently serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the group. Additionally, he holds the position of CEO at Baltic Fund Investments, Akola aps., and Darius Zubas Holding, where he is also a member of the Management Board. Mr. Tumėnas is a member of the Boards of the State Enterprise Regitra, the State Investment Management Agency (VIVA), and the Supervisory Board of the credit union Saulėgrąža.
The new CFO of KN Energies holds a Master's degree in Economics from Vilnius University and a Master's degree in Finance from Manchester University.
In 2016, he was ranked as the best CFO in Lithuania.

Prior to joining KN Energies, T. Tumėnas held the position of CFO at the international company Corporation of European Pharmaceutical Distributors N.V. (CEPD), which operates the third-largest pharmacy chain in the European Union and has more than 1500 pharmacies in Poland, Lithuania, and Sweden.
T. Tumėnas states that one of the reasons why he decided to join KN Energies was his desire to return to Lithuania and work for it.

The company currently operates three terminals for liquid energy products in Klaipėda, Subačius, and Marijampole, and is the operator of liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals in Lithuania and Brazil.
